BIOGRAPHY

​ I am Max Alessandrini, a saxophonist specializing in alto sax. I live in Barcelona, although in addition to performing in Spain, I often play in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Italy.
In 1993, I was one of the founders of the band Funk Sinatra, a name I personally proposed. With this group, we performed in some of the best clubs in central Italy until 1995, a period during which we enjoyed great public acclaim.
In Barcelona, I regularly perform in various well-known venues in the city, such as Marula Café, Jamboree, and Casa Figari, among others. These spaces have allowed me to connect with diverse audiences and adapt my music to a wide range of atmospheres and styles.
Since 2009, I have regularly collaborated with two French DJs, Tetro DJ and Said FunkyPenaut DJ, with whom I fuse jazz and electronic music. We have brought this combination to several clubs in Prague, such as Fashion Club, Palac Akropolis, 2 Patrocinio, Coco Club, and Chapeau Rouge.
My latest musical project is the duo Lucho y Max, a collaboration with the talented singer and keyboardist Lucho Angelino. Together, we explore a unique sound that blends our musical influences and experiences, offering something fresh and different in every performance.
My passion for music has allowed me to grow and evolve continuously, collaborating with diverse artists and performing on stages across various countries.
